Fashion design major do you think its easy to get a good job besides as a fashion designer?

I know is very hard to get your talents noticed in this business since there is soo much competition out there. I know that there is an assistant as a second choice which is also good. I’m just wondering if I don’t make it as a top fashion designer or assistant is there another good job in this career run? If there is what would it be and what is the average pay for it?

What are all the careers in the fashion field and which is most unlikely a dead end job?

too many ppl want to do fashion and too little actually make a career out of designing clothes. i want to do fashion but not exactly designing. What careers in this field can you actually make money out of if u don’t exactly have the potential of being the “next great designer”?

What is the best career in fashion that has the best job outlook ?

I’d love a career in fashion it’s my dream BUT I have this nagging feeling that’s forcing me into reality .I don’t want to spend thousands of dollars on college graduate and have this great degree I can’t use to get the job I studied for .Is there a way to work in Fashion and still have the stability of a job in another area ? .Is there an area that has a better job prospect than others ?

How much would a career in fashion make?

Im trying to decide on whether to follow a career in fashion or nursing. And i know how much I’d be making in nursing but what would i be making average as a fashion editor, assistant, etc.

What are some different careers in the fashion industry?

While I have many other interests in life (particularly literature, social sciences, and astrophysics), I live, breath and eat fashion.
Fashion is something I would consider being involved with for my whole life, but I don’t know where I should start.
In fashion, other than being a model or designer (adore that idea, but must learn to sew first), what are the different careers?

How do you start off working in the fashion industry?

I am extremely interested in all areas of fashion. I keep my nose in Allure, Elle, Cosmo, Vogue and the tabloids. I love celebrities and their apparel. How do you get your foot in the door of fashion? Fashion journalism (I’m a great writer), fashion consulting (I adore clothes, accesoriese, etc.) or just working for a magazine? Help!
