I’m in my last year of high school and I plan on going to college for fashion design. I am looking to make extra money for the summer and for college life expenses. So, with my excellent knowledge of fashion, but no clothing line yet, what can I supply to my many classmates and make money?

i decided I want to attend fashion design at university but I need a portfolio to enter. I’m a graphic designer and not a fashion designer but I have ideas. I need to provide 20 pages of design and I need help.
I have never designed or created any clothing but I have a sense of putting clothes together, styling and also ideas of dress in my mind.

I want to start up my own clothing line, and I have over 200 designs already, but design schools are expensive. I want to also get a degree in business because I want to own my own night club, so I won’t have time to go to school for fashion design, business, and have a job to pay for school.

To start a business or to go to Fashion Design school?

Here’s the deal: I skipped school this year to opt for “rest” but now that I’m totally blank, I want to do something productive and long-term. Now, should I start a small food business and start taking fashion design classes in addition to regular classes?

OR should I go to fashion design now and start a business after graduation?

I like the former, but what do you think?
